e2e is about choices.

If you are 16 -18 years old and haven’t made up your mind what you want to do yet, don’t feel you have the right skills, lack confidence in your abilities or think you have no options, then e2e could be for you.

This is the first step towards building the skills to get a job or move into higher level workbased learning. This scheme can help you develop your confidence and give you opportunities to move your life forward.

e2e is an individually designed programme that allows you to take a range of qualifications when you are ready. It will help you get involved in a variety of activities and offer you work placements. If you are unsure of a career path, e2e will support you in choosing and progressing in a particular line of work.

You can take as long as you need, to complete your training. You could get Education Maintenance Allowance (ema) and even free childcare and travel expenses.

Careers guidance will be available to you if you want to train for a specific type of work, but don’t know what training would be best for you.

e2e also offers training in key skills, from helping you to improve your confidence to financial budgeting or even how to cook.

At the end of the programme, you could choose to go into Work-Based Learning, Further Education or go for that job you want. The choice is yours.

Did you know…

You won’t have to stop working part-time if you get Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) and how much you earn won’t make any difference to how much EMA you can get.

EMA won’t affect your parents’ benefits either......If you get an EMA, it will not affect any other benefits that you or your parents or careers receive.
