They are Plumbing & Heating Engineers undertaking general plumbing such as bathrooms, taps, waste pipes and we also install boilers.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO BECOME AN APPRENTICE?
To have a career behind myself and to support myself through left and the job I’m doing as always been an interest since I left school
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY IN YOUR WORK LIFE INVOLVE?
A day could include a boiler breakdown so going the find the problem and fixing it or it could be a mix from changing some taps to fixing a toilet to full installs
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY AND WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING AN APPRENTICE?
I enjoy problem solving as not everything is as simple as it should be. You can come across a challenge but once completed you feel successful best thing about being an apprentice is you get to learn new/different things and you get to see different areas
WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER PLANS AND WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN 5 YEARS’ TIME?
Hopefully to become a fully qualified plumbing & heating be able to expand my knowledge within the industry
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT?
One of the best achievements was passing my car driving test and actually get a car because without that I wouldn’t have my apprenticeship

WHAT IS THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT BECOMING AN APPRENTICE?
Never quit and keep pushing for the apprenticeship you want, it could take time and it might seem like you’re getting nowhere at times but don’t quit, it is the best way forward.
