Why did you choose to become an apprentice?
I became an apprentice to further my education and to further my career aspects.

What does your day in your work life involve?
Essentially ensure the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis and I give administrative support to the team. My responsibilities typically include organising meetings and managing databases, booking transport and accommodation and organising company events or conferences.

What do you enjoy and what is the best thing about being an apprentice?
Learning the aspects of my new role as office manager.

What are your career plans and what would you like to be doing in 5 years’ time?
My 5 year plan is as follows, to do my level 2 Diploma in Business Administration and continue on to my Level 3 and then my Level 4 in Business and further my education with Crowberry Consulting.

What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is getting the job of Office Manager and changing careers.

I am down to earth girl from Ireland who loves music, getting out & about meeting new people

What is the best piece of advice you would give to someone thinking about becoming an apprentice?
My advice would be if you are in a job and you want to change your career this is a great opportunity to do so. I worked with Health Care Sector for 16 years and now I’m learning a new job and doing my apprenticeship at the same time, meeting new and interesting people in the Environmental & Energy Sector.

I attended St Joseph School in Ireland.
