Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust provides health and wellbeing services for a population of around 1.4million people. The services provided include community services such as health visiting, podiatry, sexual health and dentistry as well as inpatient and community mental health services. The Trust covers the whole of the county and employs around 7,000 members of staff across more than 400 sites.

Our clinical services are delivered through three networks:

  • Community and Wellbeing
  • Children and Young Person’s Wellbeing
  • Mental Health

Which type of Apprenticeships do you offer?
We offer all levels of apprenticeships from Level 2 through to degree level in a wide variety of areas ranging from Business and Admin apprenticeships through to Health Care Apprenticeships.

Why did you choose to hire an apprentice?
Apprenticeships within Lancashire Care help up to maintain a highly skilled workforce, bringing in new talent and helping us to grow and develop our staff.

We have had many successful apprenticeships at Lancashire Care, seeing staff develop and go on to achieve permanent positions within our organisation is very rewarding. Some of our apprentices are now on their 3rd and 4th apprenticeships with us.
